Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ by engaging indigenous Pastors around the world. Our vision is to train Pastors and their congregants to share the gospel in a friendly, non-denominational approach across all ethnicities, creeds, nationalities and physical boundaries throughout the world. We desire to serve and share with all people groups through evangelism, Bible distribution, Pastoral discipleship, humanitarian aid, child and orphan care.
We connect with a local host Pastor, organization or ministry to invite us into their community to conduct four day evangelism training classes which include live practicum letting the students apply
what they learn by sharing the gospel. The teaching is based on foundational Biblical doctrine prevalent across Christian denominations. The course includes Christian Apologetics, relationship building and establishing Bible Studies and Church plants. Donations to our general fund support these efforts.
We invest in our Pastors and their ministries especially with children and orphans. Often we partner with His Outreach Worldwide distributing their children’s books and by conducting Vacation Bible Schools together. The Gate Ministry, TheGATEMinistryUganda@gmail.com was birthed in 2019. The Gate Ministry mission statement reads, “To provide love and encouragement through letters to school children at Canaan Children’s Home reinforcing scripture, their value and pointing them to Christ. John 14:18, “I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.”
In 2017, Face to Faith began an intentional program to disciple and encourage our National Trainers. We held a retreat at Canaan Children’s Transit Center in Busika, Uganda bringing our National Trainers together for training, fellowship, prayer and fun. Village Baptist Church generously sent their Pastor of Missions, Kevin Duffy, a gifted Bible and Christian Apologetics teacher to raise the training bar. We held our second retreat in 2019. Dr. Richard Mark Lee, Senior Pastor of Village Baptist Church taught and coached our Pastors. We see tremendous value in future retreats.
Natural disasters, food crises and potable water shortages occur in the communities with which we work. We want to be the hands, feet, heart and voice of God for those in need. We sent a team to Nepal to help after the earthquake in 2015. We provided funds to help with food distribution during the COVID-19 pandemic in Kenya, Botswana and DRC. We want to respond as much as possible with immediate assistance to physical and spiritual needs. If your heart is moved in this area of ministry then please contact us.
We believe in the inerrancy of the Bible and that it is God inspired. Many of the people we touch have never seen or read a Bible. One of our greatest joys is to give someone a Bible in their heart language. We endeavor to provide Pastors, evangelists and church leaders a study Bible to increase the depth of their Bible knowledge. Donations can be made to our Bible Fund.
Our small, volunteer ministry staff and committed Pastors want to boldly make known the mystery of the gospel and exhibit the love of Christ by touching those in need.
